Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Siam, an IHG Hotel - SHA Extra Plus

Can I just say… everything? Almost, at least. Superb location! Right by National Stadium BTS station (which my group used to walk over to MBK almost every day bc there is a lift to the other side). MBK Center is just opp about 3 mins walk or so. Easy to get picked up or dropped off by Grab at hotel lobby. Very very easy to get around. There’s a McDonald’s at ground floor of hotel which is hardly full even on weekends. Massage place called Lek House of Massage or something with helpful staff, affordable services and awesome amenities just next to hotel building. Walk further up past massage place and there’s another mall called Lotus Rama 1. Hotel has useful and hardly occupied facilities such as 24hour laundry room and gym! 100baht each for washer and dryer - can just use the coins you have and don’t need to change to tokens first or whatever. But can change your notes to coins with reception, which we really appreciated. And the smoking rooms!!! We got connecting rooms too. I miss this hotel already and will surely be back next time.

Coming from the US the breakfast options here were excellent. The location is very convenient, centrally located, and a great hub to explore anywhere in Bangkok. It's only a few minutes walk from the National Stadium BTS station and MBK, very walkable even with Bangkok's intense heat. The bed was so comfortable like most reviewers have said, we were well-rested. Definitely would stay again on our next visit. P.S. A central location where the local taxis would actually go and drop you off is excellent!

the location is perfect. outside the hotel, just like 2-5mins walk to the National Stadium BTS which connects to Siam Interchange BTS. also walking distance about 5-10 mins walk (depending your walking pace) to MBK centre, and walking distance about 10-15mins to Siam Discovery, Siam Center, and Siam Paragon. 7 eleven nearby as well. Two 7 Eleven stores very nearby. the property also has two washing machines and two dryers on the 7th floor of the hotel, 100 baht for 40mins washing machine and another 100 baht for 1 hour dryer. perfect for travelers like us who stayed for 6 or more days/nights and need to do laundry. mcD is just outside the hotel, same building. opposite road of the hotel, the national stadium with running tracks.

Spent 14 days at holiday inn Siam. It was very good. Housekeeping cleaned my room everyday and waters were restocked. Great attention to detail. AC was perfect and the internet was great!!Used the gym too and it was great and again the cleaning was done perfectly at Gym. I would definitely come back to stay here. The front of house team is also very polite and helpful. At one point I had to get into hospital because of an allergic reaction and they organized a taxi to take me to hospital. I appreciate each one of you!!!!

Stayed for 3 nights - amazing location with walking distance to National Stadium BTS, MBK and Siam Centers. As we stayed there as part of our honeymoon trip, the hotel offered us a lovely room with a stunning view of the Stadium and the city of Bangkok. Friendly staffs with good understanding of English. McDonalds attached to the entrance of the hotel, very convenient for us after a full day of traveling!
